tisk tisk, such language being used here...

ANYWAY, in my quest for artistic improvement, I've set a new goal. That is to make at least one new 3d model every week. I'm posting my first semi-achievement here:

I kind of came up with the character concept after biting my tongue terribly last week. Kumi says it looks like the pipe plants from Mario. Sneh.

oh, another goal to mention is to also post more updates here. It's been so lonely as of late...if you have any questions or comments, why not use the forums?

PEACE

New Computer 2006

I felt that I do enough research into my new computer systems to put up a webpage about it. If you have comments, feel free to post them in the forum!

I'll probably get in trouble for this.

For you World of Warcraft players, I have been working on my first mod, ChatSounds. Basically it plays sounds for different types of chat messages. You can download the mod from these locations:

bear in japan - photos

30 Apr 2005 - 6:45 pm
How's it going? It's Golden Week in Japan, so I have a week off from work. I is totally chillin at Kumi's crib...sippin on some gin and juice, singing karakore with da Shimizu's...I finally got some time to edit my pictures and make them relatively acceptable for your viewing pleasure. Although the bearinjapan site isn't officially up [im actually not sure what makes it official anyways], I'm posting gallery stuff.

Flight to Japan
Training at Aeon
Sakura watching
Kyoto shiz
Botanical Gardens
Temples

Let me try and make sense of this stuff...I flew to Japan. The flight was long and the flight attendants surly. I arrived in Osaka and trained for a week to combat the ferocious Japanese students I would soon face. In our hotel, a random dude showed me the old flaming wallet gag. Two days after training started, Kumi and I went to a park to see the cherry blossoms. After training, I went to Kyoto to teach "Heartful English". Two days ago I went to the Kyoto Botanical Gardens and then some popular temples.

That's all I have for now. I'm too lazy to put links up for everything, but I have a feeling that Geof will do so in his usual secretive admin way. Also, ideally, long updates that describe my goings on in Japan will be in the bearinjapan site [thats why its there]. Oh, one more important thing...a;oseia;dl)('%UHKJ+LKJkfandv;adlfkjadf.....[end transmission]

OK, I`m alive. In Kyoto. I have a full time job. There are very few internet cafes here ... I`m updating from a free one now, but its a ways away from my apartment. I don`t have my camera with me so no pictures this time ... um ... what else ... oh, I got a cell phone ... if you want to email it, the address is technodookie@ezweb.ne.jp. Although Geof tried to email me last night and it just came up with gibberish ... still trying to figure out why ... right, once I get internet access at my place I`ll update a lot more and also get bearinjapan up and running. Catch you guys on the flip-side

For better or worse, you can now download Gravinoid and its source code from the project section. Keep in mind that the game is still in production. Please go to our forums and let us know how it runs. And yes, I know the game is hard. It should be easier once we get items in, but hopefully not too much!

Just thought I would share with our readers some music videos that Bear and I have seen recently and that we really liked.

Rammstein - Amerika

Otep - Warhead

Cradle of Filth - Nymphetamine

Daft Punk - Robot Rock

Nine Inch Nails - The Hand That Feeds

Thanks to Jeff Putney for posting the Daft Punk video on our forums and to my dad for sharing the other videos with us, which he recorded off of Metal Masters using his new Toshiba RD-XS52 HDD/DVD Recorder.
